懷孕生子對許多人來說都是重要的喜事,但隨著妊娠過程的賀爾蒙變化、各式各樣的壓力等,都會造成媽咪們妊娠及產後憂鬱。然而,妳們知道爸比也會產後憂鬱男性產後憂鬱 ( Paternal Perinatal Depression, PPND ) 嗎?兩者之間又有甚麼關係呢?
憂鬱症會傳染?
並不會!
懷孕就和月經週期一樣的會因為 賀爾蒙 的改變,進而影響到媽咪的情緒,雖然名為產後憂鬱,但其實很多媽咪們在
懷孕時 就有徵兆。但是,若媽咪有產後憂鬱時,爸比們憂鬱症的 共同發生率 也會提高。相對的,若其中一人症狀改善時,另一人改善的機會也會跟著
提高 !
男性產後憂鬱(Paternal
Perinatal Depression, PPND )
根據調查,很多爸比在媽媽的妊娠期間就開始有憂鬱傾向,在小Baby出生後三個月,平均
每五位 就有一位受憂鬱症所苦。造成的原因很多,賀爾蒙改變、睡眠時間的壓縮、Baby的健康問題及憂鬱症的過去病史 等皆是。從研究來看,經濟問題雖然是壓力來源,但卻不是造成爸爸們憂鬱症的原因。
爸比也憂鬱 ( Daddy Blues
)
一般男性(特別是亞洲人)比較壓抑,導致 難以察覺 。但是若突然有提不起勁、悲觀的看法到容易胃痛、體重減輕或身體到處都會疼痛等情況時,爸比們就可能是產後憂鬱囉(Daddy Blues)。
找回爸爸的顏色
如同媽咪們會找姐妹傾倒一下負能量,爸比們也是。研究也證實爸比們對心理諮詢 不僅接受度高,效果也
不遜於 藥物治療。只要爸比願意,任何他所信任的朋友或家人都能給予 支持與正向的生活型態 ,方法也很多元,打球、一頓飯,甚至來場電玩競賽都能作為
打開 壓力閥的鑰匙!
總結
產後憂鬱就像沙漏一樣,只要 翻轉 情緒的方向,負面的能量也能轉換成正能量。而
鼓勵尋求協助與提供支持 ,則是為人生重新著色最有效的方式!
正因為產後憂鬱症會互相影響,只要適時地協助翻轉情緒,互相鼓勵,依然能造就
正面 的成果!
